Michael has spent his entire 30-year career in the boardrooms of some of the UK’s most dynamic and high-performing multinational companies.
As Partnership Director of Boardwave he is now responsible for developing and maintaining the ongoing relationships between Boardwave and each of its Sponsors and Partners.
Michael's previous Board level experience includes significant stints with two very successful software businesses: as part of the early management team through the creation of Spirent Communications PLC, now the global leader in the provision of bespoke software for automated testing and assurance of networks, security and positioning, and subsequently with Eidos, one of Europe’s largest games software developers and publishers at the time.
As Company Secretary, Michael has been a key advisor and contributor to numerous public and private company boards and senior management in the areas of business strategy, culture, operational management, major change initiatives and corporate governance.
He has also:
executed on IPOs and international M&As of all shapes and sizes;
led on post-acquisition integration programmes;
implemented and administered international remuneration and stock option plans;
managed the regulatory, compliance, reporting and disclosure regimes which attach to a London and NASDAQ company listing; and
provided leadership and development to aspiring non-executive directors.
Michael is a business studies graduate and a Fellow of The Chartered Governance Institute.
He lives with his wife and family in South London and has recently retired from full time employment.
