Go faster. Stay in control. Alongside WellFounded, we're curating four nights in Finse, Norway, for a small group of European tech and AI leaders.

AI has changed the pace of building a tech company. Engineering teams can now ship more product, faster and more cheaply than ever. But product marketing and go-to-market have not kept up. Positioning goes out of date as quickly as it is written, and the question for most leadership teams is no longer how to build faster, but how to sell and make money from everything they can now build.

Mornings are hands-on workshops built around your own business. The first two, on go-to-market, are delivered by our long-standing partner Mindstone and led by their CRO, Alex Sullivan Lepaffe. Afternoons are spent on the ice with qualified expedition guides. Evenings are shared around the table, with fireside conversations from thought leaders and explorers.

It is one of the most remarkable places in Europe to think about leadership: a village with no road, 1,222 metres up on the edge of Europe’s largest mountain plateau, in the landscape that became the ice planet Hoth in Star Wars.

Why this retreat? Why now?

If you can build faster than you can sell, this is the week to work out how to close the gap, with a group of peers who are doing the same.

Our first AI Leadership Retreat at Wasing Estate in May 2026 was about slowing down to speed up, stepping away from the noise to rethink how to lead through AI. This retreat is the next step. It is about acceleration, and how to go faster without losing control.

Finse has long been a training ground for polar expeditions. On an expedition, the teams that move fastest are not the ones who push hardest. They are the ones with the right systems, clear roles, trust in each other and the judgement to make good decisions under pressure.

Over four days, we will look at how to take products to market at the speed you can now build them, what a modern go-to-market engine looks like, and the people you need to run it. Then we will test what that means for you as a leader, out on the ice.
