Where we represent you beyond membership
Boardwave supports members beyond our core programmes. We advocate with European governments for better scale-up policies. We provide practical AI education through expert partnerships. And we run dedicated programmes for women founders and CEOs, including board readiness pathways and peer networks.
PURPOSE-LED MODEL
What started as one event is now a movement
In 2017, Boardwave's founder, Phill Robinson, was diagnosed with young-onset Parkinson’s. Determined to make a difference, he became the first Chair of the Development Board at Cure Parkinson’s in 2021. A year later, he co-founded Boardwave - not only to connect the European technology sector, but to create a purpose-driven company that donated to Cure Parkinson's. What began as a one-off fundraising event has grown into a community of 2,000+ members and 50+ in-person and virtual events a year across Europe. Together, this community has already donated over £350,000 to Cure Parkinson’s. But there’s so much more to do. Every donation helps fund pioneering research to slow, stop, and ultimately cure Parkinson’s.
