The role
We are shifting from using generic, off-the-shelf platforms to building our own custom, AI-native ecosystem. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on tech builder to be the engineering engine behind this transition.
We aren't looking for someone to spend months writing boilerplate code. Instead, we want a creative problem-solver who uses modern AI-assisted tools and low-code platforms. You might prefer tools like Claude, Lovable, or Supabase, or perhaps you have your own highly efficient stack in mind. Whatever you use, the goal is to build something truly magical for our members and internal team.
Most importantly, you need to be a fantastic listener. You will work closely with our team to translate their ideas, frustrations, and goals into a seamless, engaging digital experience that our community actually wants to use every day.
Key elements of the role
- Build the Magic: Design and develop a mobile-first Member Platform and a single, purpose-built internal CRM that our team and members love using.
- Listen & Collaborate: Work closely with team leads across Partner, Programme, and Marketing to understand their pain points and iterate quickly based on their feedback.
- Choose Your Stack: Leverage modern AI UI builders, intelligent APIs, and robust backends to build quickly and cost-effectively. We have suggested tools like Lovable and Claude, but you will have the freedom to recommend the best tools for the job.
- Own the Migration: Lead the technical transition away from our legacy systems and ensure a smooth rollout.
- Champion Security & Compliance: Ensure our platform is European by design. You will ensure GDPR compliance from day one, being supported by a tea, handle EU data hosting, and make certain that any AI processing respects strict data privacy agreements.
