Tim recently joined Montagu from Bain & Company. Tim will lead the FPP team at Montagu. Working in partnership with management, Montagu’s FPP team supports each portfolio company to establish the right value creation initiatives and drive growth. This is built around seven core levers; sales execution, new products and services, new geographies, tech-enablement, operational improvements, carve-outs, and M&A.
Until his move to Montagu, Tim was a Senior Partner in Bain’s London Private Equity practices. He has worked with Bain in the UK, South Africa and across Europe.
His expertise was in advising private equity funds with diligence and post-acquisition growth plans
He has deep experience in business and financial services, where he has advised many European institutions on their corporate and business unit strategies, and Software.
Prior to Bain, he worked for ExxonMobil in the UK, Holland and Belgium.
He has a MBA from the University of Michigan, where he was a Fulbright Scholar and a MA (hons) from Cambridge University.
Tim grew up in the Netherlands and speaks Dutch fluently.
He is a Governor at London Metropolitan University and a Trustee of Borough Market
