Alidad Moghaddam is a London-based tech executive, angel investor, and advisor. His career spans start-ups, scale-ups, growth companies and large global enterprises in a variety of commercial, growth and product leadership roles.

He is an active angel investor and board advisor with a portfolio of 40 high growth tech companies across the US, UK and Europe, and also provides advisory services to VC & PE funds regarding their tech portfolios.

He is also currently an Expert in Residence at Seedcamp, one of Europe's leading seed funds.

Most recently, Alidad was International General Manager and VP of Growth at trainline, where he helped lead the company to its successful IPOs and induction into the FTSE 250.

Before joining trainline, Alidad was the Group Commercial Director at blinkbox Entertainment, a digital entertainment platform, where he was responsible for strategy, business planning, and corporate development. Prior to blinkbox, he was part of the executive team at private equity-backed fintech company TotallyMoney, where he ran marketing and product development.

Prior to TotallyMoney, Alidad was part of the senior management team at, Europe’s largest finance and insurance aggregator, where he managed one of its subsidiaries and was product manager for the company’s consumer credit vertical.

Alidad also previously worked as a management consultant for Bain & Company in New York and London and held strategy and business development roles at American Express in New York. He also graduated with an MBA from Harvard and a BA with Honors in Economics and International Relations from Brown University.
