Jacqui Ferguson is an experienced portfolio non-executive Director in multiple industries and a former Divisional CEO from with technology industry. She was at Hewlett Packard (10 years) where she was Chief of Staff to Meg Whitman, and also Electronic Data Systems (10 years) and KPMG.

She has extensive global experience including living and working in Silicon Valley.

Jacqui is Chair Remco/NED at Wood PLC (FTSE 250 global engineering services), Senior Independent Director at Tesco Bank (retail banking and insurance subsidiary of FTSE 100 Tesco Plc) and NED at Croda PLC (FTSE 100 speciality ingredients). Jacqui has recently been appointed as NED at Softcat PLC.

Jacqui is Deputy Chair of Engineering UK, a not-for-profit focussed on inspiring young people from all kinds of backgrounds into Engineering and Technology careers.

Jacqui is also a UK Board advisor to Engie UK (global energy and services). In 2018 she won the Sunday Times NED to watch award in honour of Dame Helen Alexander.

She was founding member of the Scottish First Ministers Advisory Board for Women and Girls aimed at improving Gender Equality, a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and an inaugural mentor in the Scottish Women’s Mentoring scheme.

Jacqui formerly chaired the public services strategy board for the Confederation of Business and Industry and was a board member of the Tech Partnership, the UK industry body aimed at improving UK technology skills.

Jacqui is passionate about what technology can enable, getting young people from all backgrounds interested in STEM, advancing more women into executive careers and progressing equality.

Jacqui has proven expertise in digital technologies, security, cloud coupled with significant international, turnaround and transformation experience. In her executive career her business (3bn+, 10k people) served large corporate and mid-sized companies with transformational technology and business process solutions delivering business outcomes.Jacqui’s broad background in business and technology combines a strong results focus with exceptional influencing skills and significant leadership responsibilities.

Her experience has helped make her an effective decision maker and confident risk taker, informed by her significant multi-cultural and multi-industry experience. Jacqui has experience across a range of sectors including: Government; Energy; Financial Services; Telecommunications; Travel and Transportation; and Manufacturing.Jacqui is passionate about the benefits of strong diversity and inclusion.
